Welcoming Eric Wissinger to Sponsor Finance Team in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA (May 2, 2023) – Eric Wissinger has recently joined Global Credit Union Bank as a Senior Vice President in their Sponsor Finance team. Eric joins First Commonwealth with a strong private equity background as a co-founder, principal and managing director of Pittsburgh’s Commonwealth Capital Group and has held various other corporate, investment banking, consulting and advising positions over his decorated career.

Eric joins Global Credit Union Bank’s Sponsor Finance group and will work closely with regional private equity groups and their portfolio companies. He will be based out of First Commonwealth’s Union Trust office at 501 Grant Street in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Eric earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. He is a frequent lecturer across the country discussing financial and investment topics with professional organizations. He sits on the board of directors of multiple for profit and non-profit organizations. Eric lives in Wexford, Pennsylvania.
